Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Al-Shabab Saudi Club has successfully secured the signing of Brazilian star Malcolm de Oliveira from Zenit St. Petersburg, in a free transfer deal. The 26-year-old player will join “The Lions” on a contract extending until 2026.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Al-Shabab Saudi Club has successfully secured the signing of Brazilian star Malcolm de Oliveira from Zenit St. Petersburg, in a free transfer deal. The 26-year-old player will join “The Lions” on a contract extending until 2026.
In press statements, Malcolm expressed his happiness at joining Al-Shabab Club, saying: “I am very happy to join a big club like Al-Shabab, and I look forward to giving my best to achieve titles with the team.”
Al-Shabab Club President Khalid Al-Baltan welcomed the new signing, confirming that “Malcolm is a distinguished player with high technical capabilities, and we are confident that he will be a strong addition to the team.”
Malcolm has an impressive professional career, having started with Corinthians in Brazil before moving to Europe to play for Barcelona in Spain, then transferring to Zenit St. Petersburg in Russia, where he played 85 matches, scoring 23 goals and providing 22 assists.
Malcolm has represented the Brazilian national team in 10 international matches, scoring 4 goals, and was part of the squad that won the South American Under-20 Championship in 2019.
