Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)– Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo led his team Al-Nassr to a big victory over Al-Hazem with a score of 4-0 in the match that took place at Al-Awwal Park Stadium as part of the 23rd round of the Saudi Professional League.

Ronaldo scored two goals in the 13th and 79th minutes, earning him the Man of the Match award and leading his team to a valuable victory that strengthens their position at the top of the league table.
Ronaldo celebrated the victory and the Saudi Founding Day, which falls on February 22 of each year, wearing the traditional Saudi bisht (cloak) after the final whistle, expressing his happiness at living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
After the match, Ronaldo said: “I am very happy to live in this wonderful country and I want to stay here for a long time. I love Saudi culture and feel at home here.”
He added: “I thank Al-Nassr fans for their constant support for me and the team. We are on the right track and look forward to achieving more victories in the coming period.”
He continued: “I would also like to congratulate the Saudi people on the occasion of Founding Day. I am proud to be part of this historic day and to wear the Saudi bisht to celebrate this precious occasion.”
Ronaldo confirmed that he is seeking to continue delivering distinguished performances with Al-Nassr and contribute to winning titles, noting that his ambition is great with the team in the current season.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January of this year in a free transfer from Manchester United, and has succeeded in establishing himself as a star of the Saudi league since his arrival.
This victory is Al-Nassr’s eighth consecutive win in the league this season, confirming their great superiority over other teams and their dominance of the top spot.
Al-Nassr hopes to continue their victories in the upcoming matches to strengthen their position at the top and advance toward winning the precious league title after a long absence.
